What a great hotel and such a warm and friendly owner! Hotel is in the middle of a beautifil nature! The food is absolutely great!! Wonderful chef! And I love their swimming pool!! We will come back here!!

This was my 5th visit here, it's one of my very favourite hotels. Traditional, friendly, welcoming, beautiful & very well appointed. This in itself would put it near the top, factor in excellent food & a spectacular building in an equally spectacular setting & you have something very special indeed. As you can tell I love the Ochsenwirtzhof. I first visited in '99 as part of a car rally. The hotel was by far the best of the trip & a real highlight - it was a shame that our itinerary didn't allow more time here. I have since been back on subsequent rallies a further 3 times, the last time with my partner (in her car) - there are some amazing & challenging roads locally too. We discussed where we would like to spend our 10th anniversary & an extended stay in the Ochsenwirtzhof was at the top of the list - it didn't disappoint, we had a wonderful stay & was an even nicer place to relax over multiple nights - the pool & sauna are lovely, the staff are amazing & the rooms are very comfortable. We will definitely be back.
